“My Summer”
My summer was very boring. I didn't do much. I just sort of relaxed and did nothing but read and play video games. I didn't have any money, neither did my parents, so I couldn't do much. My long-awaited cousin was born. She was born in July. The fourth of July was really boring because usually I spend it with my dad and his family but he was in an argument with his mom and his brother so I had to spend the 4th with only my dad. He was broke and relying on his brother to bring all the fireworks, so we only had a tiny bit of fireworks and it wasn't as fun as it should’ve been.
A Subject That I Like and Want to Talk About

One other thing I love to do is to listen to music. But of course I don’t listen to the terrible garbage that is passing as “good music” nowadays. Pop and hip hop to me has died. Those genres have nothing good left for them and the artists in these genres care not about the music but about the fame/money. I listen to alternative and indie music. (I also have a soft spot for electro.) The alternative and indie artists really try to make good music. You can really hear their heart and soul placed into the music. I also think this for other forms of art too. Video games, books, paintings, etc. Indie artists definitely try to place a small part of them into their art. So in conclusion- Mainstream sucks, indie rocks.

“To know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice.”
Confucius

I think that Confucius is saying that someone who knows what the right thing to do in a certain situation but doesn't do it is a completely miserable thing to do. It shows that you are committing a crime of utter cowardice and that is usually irredeemable.  There is no honor in that.

A Subject That I Am Typing About Right Now

My favorite thing to do is to PLAY VIDEO GAMES. Most adults think video games are stupid, useless, immature, or are filling kids heads with sex, drugs, and killing. BUT I think that they are wrong. There are games that solely express those ideas, but there are PLENTY of games that do not. I think that video games are a new form of art. That may sound silly but I truly believe that. They are basically are movies but with a major sense of interaction. The stories in some games are phenomenal. A few examples would be Heavy Rain, Portal, Bioshock, The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, The Walking Dead, and many more. Imagine hundreds of talented people’ minds all focused in making a masterpiece. Now imagine that you can fully interact and manipulate this masterpiece to your whim. That is truly what a real video game is. Also they contain weeks of entertainment.

“Always do Right”
Mark Twain

I think that this quote means…. that you should always do the right thing. Yup. I hope you’re not expecting a big response to this quote. I don’t know what else to say. Doing the right thing is doing the smart thing, doing the wrong thing is doing the dumb thing. An example would be doing the right by not doing drugs. That’s a good example. “Success is simple. Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.”
Arnold H. Glasgow

I think this means that in order to gain success you need to follow those simple and easy steps. But in reality, these steps are harder than they seem. In order for success to occur in your life, you need to always do the right thing, without messing up and always somehow at the right moment in time. “Doing the right thing is not that hard,” says the idiot who has never heard of challenges. Doing the right thing should be difficult because it is what molds us to be better people, it shouldn’t be easy. Managing to not screw up is also a hard thing to do as well. We all screw up, but sometimes for the better. And doing things at the right time is a mixture of choice and coincidence. Personally I don’t like this quote, I think it’s unrealistic.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do”
Richard L. Evans

This quote is really self-explanatory. I think this quote means that we should keep doing what is right, and stop doing what is wrong. Sometimes we do what is wrong because it is easier than doing what is right. In order to do what is right we need to find the courage to help us overcome the fear of difficulty in doing what is right. For example, if you have an essay due soon and you have no idea what to do, or have no clue about the subject you are writing on. The wrong thing to do is to not even try, because you are lazy and scared that you might fail completely in trying to do the essay. The right thing to do would be to try anyway and try to find out more about the subject, find the courage to overcome the fear (and laziness).

“Start with what is right rather than what is acceptable.”
Peter F. Drucker

I think this means that you should always do what is right, extraordinary, or more than what you can do rather than do what is acceptable, sufficient, or lazy work. I think that this idea is a great way of thinking. I believe that you should always do something more than you are normally comfortable with. Many people would look at this quote and agree with it and say what I am saying, but in reality they don’t follow by it. I myself don’t follow by it, but I agree with it. Many people don’t want to step outside their comfort zones because they don’t want to face the consequences of mistake. They don’t realize that there won’t always be mistakes made by stepping out and doing more.
Allopathic Physician (M.D.)

Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses (including AP courses) available in science, math, and English.
After three or four years of college, prospective physicians must attend medical school. Undergraduate requirements for admission to all medical schools include one year of basic chemistry, one year of organic chemistry, one year of biology, and one year of physics. Some medical schools also require course work in calculus, English, the humanities, or social science.
Medical school usually includes two years of additional study in both basic and clinical sciences and is followed by a year-long hospital internship. Physicians who want to specialize must then undertake a three-year residency in their residency.
