“Set your goals high, and don’t stop till you get there.”
Bo Jackson

This quote is simple and self-explanatory, you have to set high goals and never give up on them. I guess it is natural to set objectives high, but not too high. If you want to enter congress or something, you shouldn't aim to be president or if you are inexperienced in a subject and you have to participate in an action of that subject, don’t aim for the outcome to be perfect, aim for it to be excellent.

“You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.”

Michael Phelps
22 Olympic Medals (18 Gold)

This quote is basically saying that you can do whatever you want, whatever you aspire. You can’t put a limit on dreams or desires, if you hope for something long enough you might be able to make it a reality. Also you shouldn't let anyone disrupt your dreams; go for whatever makes you happy. Of course, if what makes you happy is something along the lines of murder, rape, torture, animal cruelty, abuse, and anything else immoral or illegal then you should probably not do that, please.

Restoring Faith in Humanity

In this video I saw many dangerous situations occur and then one or a few people would come and commit an act of righteousness. In some parts of the video, it wasn't just one person who chose to help someone, it was a group of people and even a community at one point. This video shows how some people actually care and can show kindness in the face of peril. And not only do acts of generosity come in the form of helping someone, in some parts of the video people were helping threatened animals. That shows that not everyone is selfish and malevolent, sometimes they are selfless and brave.

“Try a little harder to be a little better.”
Gordon B. Hinckley

This quote is simple and self-explanatory; if you try harder, then the outcome of your efforts will be better. The amount of effort you put into something will be equal to the quality of the outcome.
Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical illustrators produce resources such as photography and graphic images for professionals involved in patient care, teaching, education and research. There are four specialist areas: clinical photography, graphic design, medical art, and videography.

Salary: $35,000 - $50,000

Education: In order to become a medical illustrator, they had to have a major in art and a minor in science or vice versa. Certification as a medical illustrator requires a graduate degree in medical illustration, a portfolio review, and successful completion of a national examination.

Reflection: I think I would like to become a medical illustrator because I think this would come easily for me. I am a good artist but the only problem I have is that I am really bad at the perception of space and length, so in order to draw these detailed designs of the subject of the body I would need to become better at perceiving length.

“If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work.”
Thomas J. Watson

I think what the quote is trying to say is that the only way to achieve excellence is to actually try the hardest that you can. If you try the hardest that you can then that work will be excellent because it will be the best you can do. Anything less than your hardest will not be excellent because you did not want to achieve greatness, you wanted to slack off.
Medical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical Assistants do plenty of things. They can instruct patients about medications and special diets, prepare and administer medications as directed, authorize drug refills as directed, telephone prescriptions to a pharmacy, draw blood, prepare patients for X-rays, take electrocardiograms, remove sutures, and change dressings. They also facilitate communication between the patient and other health care professionals. Their duties range from these to many, many other things.
Salary: $17,000 - $18,000
Education: While some employers may provide on the job training, many give preference to applicants with formal medical assistant education. Another way candidates can distinguish themselves is by obtaining industry-recognized credentials, such as Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

Reflection: I would not like to be a medical assistant because I think it would be a bit much for me.

“Paint a masterpiece daily. Always autograph your work with excellence.”
Greg Hickman

I think what he is trying to say is that every day we should do something glorious and we should show that we did it with excellence by owning it, trying our hardest to do those things. The masterpiece is a metaphor for the things we can do every day and the autograph is a metaphor for our efforts in doing these things.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

“It’s not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes a difference.”

Paul “BEAR” BRYANT

I think that this quote means that the quality of a champion is not the desire to win alone, but the preparation, training, planning, etc. that should come with the desire to win. I agree with this quote because we have to work to get what we want. We, as a human species, will always want something, and it will never come without a price. The only thing that will grant us this object of desire is if we truly try to obtain it. Craving it alone is useless, we have to earn it.

“Righteous community unity starts with ONE upright soul, whether it is a community of family members, students, neighbors, teammates, or business associates. Unity conquers worthy pursuits more quickly and with less effort than individual effort alone.”
Mr. Haymore

I think that this quote means it is better to have unity than to work alone. I agree with this quote, it is better to be unified than to be segregated or alone. When you are in a unified environment, things will be easier than they would if you were to be alone. With unity you have people who care about you and people who you care about. You will never have to face anything alone ever again with a community that is unified.

“Together Everyone Achieves More
Anon

This statement means that when a group of people work as a team, they achieve more. They achieve more because when there are more people there to help with a job, the job will be done exceptionally right. The reason why that happens is because each person is doing a specific duty and because of that, the job will be done faster and more efficiently and also there are people to rely on and more perspectives.

Add a Picture:

“Work as a team to achieve your dream”
Sarah Real

This quote is saying that in order to achieve your goals, it is wise to ask for help from friends or family. When you want to achieve your goals and you don’t have any help then it might be more difficult to accomplish than when you have help. Usually you should look for help from people that want to help you and you know will help you.

“You will become as great your dominant aspiration (goal).”
James Allen

I think that this quote means that you will only become as strong or powerful as what you want to become or do. I think this is a pretty clever quote because it says that in order to become something big and mighty, you have to have big and mighty dreams. Or in order to become happy and successful you must have happy and successful dreams.
Health Science Librarian

$35,000 - $55,000 (Librarians)

Courses include scientific literature, biomedical communication, bibliographic resource use, library organization and management, and standard cataloging systems. While health science librarians are not required to be certified, the Medical Library Association does offer certification examinations which would help a librarian advance to a higher position.
Answer: I think I would not like to be a health science librarian because it seems very difficult not that rewarding. I wouldn’t want to be a librarian in the first place. I love books and reading them but to be in charge of a million books and to have to know where each one would be doesn’t seem pleasant.

What is The Strangest Secret in The World?
“We become what we think about.”
Earl Nightingale

First off, I would like to say something that has been bothering me since I’ve seen the title. The title “What is the Strangest Secret in The World?” is really getting me bothered because if it is a secret, then we are not supposed to be told what it is because then it wouldn’t be a secret anymore. Anyways with that said, I completely agree with the quote. I believe that someone who thinks about misery will only receive misery and someone who thinks about happiness will gain happiness. If you have this state of mind about yourself or your life, it is destined to materialize. This isn’t always true towards an aspect of your life that you are not completely in control of, for example if you constantly think about gaining millions of dollars you may not be destined to become a millionaire, it is possible but it is not certain. Obviously this doesn’t work with thoughts such as growing wings, or gaining superpowers, or achieving immortality. But I believe if you truly set your mind upon something, it will most likely happen because you want it to happen and you will try and try to make it happen, and eventually it might.

Health educators have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in health education. Many have master’s degrees. To be certified or licensed to teach health in public schools requires a master’s degree and successful completion of a written exam in many states.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!
I would not like to be a health educator because it seems as if I would need to be skilled with teaching and skilled with people, which I am not. I am not so good of a teacher and so I would want to become one.

“Good thoughts bear good fruit. Bad thoughts bear bad fruit.”

James Allen

This quote is using a metaphor, comparing fruit to actions or consequences.  When you think about something negative your actions will be negative. When you have negative thoughts and commit negative actions, you will receive negative consequences. If your thoughts are positive, however, you will receive positive actions and consequences. So you should always think positive and then good things will happen to you.

The genetic counselor will then explain the risks and care for the child and also explain possible risks for future children.

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
Aristotle

I think that the reasoning behind this quote is that in order for education to be worth something, you have to have your heart in the lesson. Without having your heart in what you are learning then it is not of any importance to yourself.

“CTR connects you to happiness and success-CTW disconnects.”
Mr. Haymore

What the quote is trying to say is that when you choose to do something right you gain happiness and success, and when you do something wrong you do not gain happiness and success. I agree with this quote. I do think that when you do things right you gain happiness and success. I also agree with doing something wrong means you do not gain any of these because I have plenty of experience in that department. I tend to procrastinate more than any human being alive. I procrastinate with all my schoolwork and even with things that I do for fun like my drawings or playing video games. I sometime try to push away drawing or playing because I’m too lazy or tired. I realize that by doing this I gain neither happiness nor success. I should learn to not procrastinate as much.

“Choosing the right is always the right thing to do.”
Alex Linares

What this quote is trying to say is that the right choice is always right. I mean, they do call it the right choice for a reason. Why would they call it the right choice if it was wrong? Obviously choosing the right will bring good things towards you and choosing the wrong will bring bad things towards. Let me give you a scenario where this quote would come in handy: One day you walk out of the grocery store and notice that your car’s tired have been slashed. You can either walk home, or hijack a car. Which is right and which is wrong, YOU DECIDE. But seriously, hijacking a car would result in a chain reaction where you would go to jail and become a bitter, terrible person while walking home would result in walking, just walking. I think I got off topic but you know what I mean.

Training takes one year and is followed by another year of supervised experience. Before beginning practice electroneurodiagnostic technologists must pass written and oral examinations.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!
Would you like to become an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist?
I would not like to become an electroneurodiagnostic technician because I already have my eye on a few career paths and I would not want to sway away from those ambitions. Also I would think that to become an electroneurodiagnostic technologist you must have a passion for it and I do not have a passion for it.

“It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company.”
ANON

This quote is self-explanatory because all it is trying to say is that it is worse to be with people who are a bad influence or a danger to you than to just be alone. It is better for you not to be with these people that could harm you or influence you in any negative way. If a person is friends with a group of people who aren’t doing any good to this person then they shouldn’t be friends with them at all. Sometimes this is hard to do, for various reasons. Sometimes being friends with someone who is a bad influence will give this person a sense of rebellion. Other times a person will have a fear or anxiety of finding new friends and will try to stay with the ones they already have. Either way, eventually they should realize the bad influence or potential harm and try to escape this.
