I think that this quote is meaning that if you do what you are supposed to do, then you have gained honor for completing your duty. I guess I agree with this quote. I have no thoughts about honor. I really do not understand the appeal towards honor or why it is important. The only reason why I would think honor is important is that it helps motivate you but I do not see the appeal. I guess the appeal could come from respect and fame, but to be honest I could live without them. I think that it is fine to invest in honor and to have it, I just do not understand it.
